As one of the earliest webcams on the Olympic Peninsula, the George Washington Inn webcam was mounted on its adjoining Carriage House cupola during the inn’s construction. Since that time it has served as a significant Port Angeles and Sequim oceanfront viewing portal for people around the world, especially during times of seasonal weather activity along the coast of the Olympic Peninsula.
All ships and seafaring vessels coming and going from ports in Bangor, Bremerton, Seattle and Tacoma, pass by the inn. Each summer, from May to October, the magnificent cruise ships departing from Seattle en route to Alaska give our guests front row seats to their splendor from the inn’s oceanfront balcony, and you can watch the ships pass by as well.
