Martha Washington Suite

Rate | Starting at $290

Martha Washington was well-known for her genuine hospitality. She graciously welcomed strangers into her home, provided them with a meal, and often offered overnight lodging to those who had traveled long distances to meet with her husband. This suite, conveniently located on the ground floor of the inn, is easily accessed by guests with mobility limitations. Located on the west end behind the library, this king room enjoys a beautiful view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca with private access to the piazza. A day bed, tucked into a semi-private alcove, accommodates a third traveler or provides a separate sleeping option if desired.

What Guests Say About the Martha Washington Suite

Absolutely Beautiful B&B on the Olympic Peninsula. We spent relaxing mornings and evenings sitting outside the Martha Washington room with a spectacular view out the back overlooking the Strait of Juan Fuca, with its fishing boats and ocean ships. One morning at breakfast, we heard the faint fog horns of signaling ships before the fog burned off. We saw deer and other wildlife on our morning runs. The Inn was not crowded, was quiet, had very good breakfasts, and we’d definitely return.
An Absolutely Beautiful Place with Wonderful Hosts. The George Washington Inn is amazing in every way. From the moment we drove up its driveway lined with lavender in full bloom, it felt like we were in a fairy tale. The hosts are very gracious and accommodating and have thought of every detail. Our party of 3 stayed in the Martha Washington Suite on the main floor. It was perfect. We had views of the mountains from our bathroom window and from our bedroom had view of the Straits. The size of the suite itself was huge and it was tastefully appointed.
The Best Place We Have Ever Stayed. The property is beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the accommodations are not to be matched. The rooms are like heaven. My family and I stayed in the Martha Washington Room as it is the only room that accommodates three people. Windows look out at the vast waters of the Strait of Juan De Fuca and the mountains of Olympic National Park. One can tell that a lot of thought has been out into the room from the big features to the little details.
