Experience the Sequim Valley’s only oceanfront lavender festival, located at Washington Lavender Farm between Sequim and Port Angeles on a high bluff overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Join us for ten days of everything lavender in a colonial setting – food, crafts, u-pick, cooking demonstrations, kids activities, handcrafted lavender products, essential oil distillation demonstrations, afternoon tea and more. Admission to the festival is free, but reservations are required for the afternoon tea.

Lavender expert, Victor Gonzalez of Victor’s Lavender, will hold a class on Propagating and Growing Lavender on Saturday, July 13. Then on Saturday, July 20, Steve Lyon, Director of Field Research, Plant Breeder, and Agronomist with the WSU Bread Lab, will present a seminar on growing Heritage Grains and incorporating them with culinary lavender for a gourmet baking experience.

Lavender oil distillation and crafts will be available in addition to a host of vendors who will be on site. Follow our Facebook page, Washington Lavender Festival, for more updates and a complete schedule of events. There’s plenty of free parking, and the event is handicap accessible.

Afternoon tea is only available Friday through Sunday, July 12-14, due to the caterer’s scheduling, so be sure to make your reservations early. Space is limited at each of the seatings. If there are any seats remaining on the weekend of the event, day-of tickets may be purchased at the gift shop (first come, first served) up to 15 minutes prior to the start of each seating. The ticket price includes a full three-tiered menu of sweet and savory traditional tea sandwiches, scones, fruits, and desserts.  Please note: we are delighted to partner with Sequim Fresh Catering to bring our guests a tasty, memorably delightful Tea experience.  Because all Tea menu items are brought in fresh from the caterer’s local kitchen for each day of the Tea, last minute (day of) notification of special dietary needs cannot be accommodated. However, with advance notice, Sequim Fresh Catering tries to accommodate reasonable dietary restrictions as long as we are notified when you make your reservation.
