With its amazing views, George Washington Inn’s webcam captures its location live from a high bluff overlooking the picturesque Strait of Juan de Fuca that connects the greater Seattle area with the Pacific Ocean. For your viewing pleasure, the inn’s webcam operates continuously. Night viewing often includes the distant city lights of Victoria and Vancouver in Canada.
As one of the earliest webcams on the Olympic Peninsula, the George Washington Inn webcam was mounted on its adjoining Carriage House cupola during the inn’s construction. Since that time it has served as a significant Port Angeles and Sequim oceanfront viewing portal for people around the world, especially during times of seasonal weather activity along the coast of the Olympic Peninsula.
All ships and seafaring vessels coming and going from ports in Bangor, Bremerton, Seattle and Tacoma, pass by the inn. Each summer, from May to October, the magnificent cruise ships departing from Seattle en route to Alaska give our guests front row seats to their splendor from the inn’s oceanfront balcony, and you can watch the ships pass by as well.
Visiting guests and farm visitors often enjoy connecting to their family and friends around the world by way of the inn’s webcam as well.
Come and enjoy these amazing views for yourself! Escape to a luxury bed and breakfast inn with Pacific Ocean and Olympic Mountain views, nestled along the Salish Sea between Sequim and Port Angeles, Washington. Relax and rejuvenate at one of the Olympic Peninsula’s top rated bed and breakfast inns.
