Family-Owned Bed & Breakfast
George Washington Inn, a bed and breakfast on the Olympic Peninsula, sits on a high bluff overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca much like Mount Vernon, George Washington’s home, sits on a hill overlooking the Potomac River.
When this coastal meadow was purchased in 2002, the new owners, Dan & Janet Abbott, vowed to share the unique property with others and to nurture it into something worthy of its natural beauty. The Mount Vernon-like setting inspired them to build an Olympic Peninsula bed and breakfast inn that would give others an opportunity to reflect on the faith of George Washington and our founding fathers and the spiritual legacy that they left to their countrymen and their successive generations.
George Washington Inn was established with an enduring commitment to live up to the integrity and respect that the name commands. Dan & Janet remain steadfast to the high standard set by the Washington name and intend to make the inn one of the best places to stay in the Olympic Peninsula.
